I have a high arch, and even with adjustment, is snug, but based on my experience with other Chaco styles, it will loosen a little bit.

But alas - these types without the strap in back to keep them on are not the same. My feet are contorting and contracting all the time to keep them from slipping off, and get tired quickly. No good for a walk, even to the drugstore!
And yes, I think I have them adjusted right!
