It has a great thick canvas exterior and a very soft interior. He has a 52" browning and it is a snug fit which is what we wanted so his gun didn't slide around. It was in no way to small. The padding is the one downfall it is a little thinner than we would have liked but it turned out alright because the canvas is so thick, you would really have to be rough to hurt your gun through this case. Overall Great Case!!

Browning could put their name on a better made product. Allen makes a much better case.
