By Luke from River Falls, WI on 08/11/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: We purchased this tent for car camping. The second time we used the tent it rained and was a little windy. The rain fly leaked, the floor seams leaked and with the first gust of wind the tent actually collapsed. We had to stay in a friend's cheap tent and their tent worked fine, so it wasn't a huge storm. On top of all of these issues the seam ripped where the tent stakes in two locations. Not a very sturdy tent.
Havent used it..but have set it up. By RS from St Paul MN on 06/05/2009 Pros: Easy To Set Up, Lightweight, Very inexpensive Cons: Fly tricky to set up, Will it be durable Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This replaces another more sturdy tent whose fly deteriorated. We car camp, and from the setup this seems that it will work. We havent gotten it wet, so this is a question mark. The fabric is lighter weight than the other dome, but shouldnt be a problem for our use. I dont think this tent is made for rugged use. It is easy to set up, except for the fly. I struggled with the fly by myself. Two people should handle it easily. This tent seems to be a good deal.
By May Day Mama from Midcoast Maine on 05/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Set Up, Fly Works Well, Lightweight, Sturdy Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We used the tent for the first time car camping. It poured and the winds were very flukey and we stayed dry except for a couple of spots that may have been condensation drip. Otherwise we and our belongings stayed dry and cosy.
