Looks are good, not sure of value By dj yates from Ephrata, WA on 09/12/2009 Best Uses: Beach, Car Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We haven't had the chance to really use, from the setup in our backyard, it seems simple enough. Not sure of all the features, again, haven't been able to use. Looks great, some features we had in prevous tent. I would like to rate at another time due to this.
By batmick from San Diego, CA on 01/04/2009 Pros: Easy To Set Up, Spacious Cons: Collects Condensation, Extremely leaky, Flimsy Construction, Poor Fly Design Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: We purchased this tent for a family camping trip and it seemed ideal at first. The floorspace is amazing and setup was easy and quick. I am 6'4" and could stand nearly upright inside. There are plenty of doors and windows so ventilation is good. With the guylines it held up reasonably good in some gusty winds, considering the high profile. Then came the first rain. It was merely a light drizzle yet water made it inside the tent in record time. The fly is way too small but even where it did cover, it was pretty much useless. Water came through all seams, zippers and even through the material itself. We actually had to cut our visit to Sequoia NP short when a thunderstorm hit in the afternoon and we had to evacuate the tent and make a run for the nearest hotel. Fortunately, there were no further storms for the remainder of our trip but I bought two tarps to span over the tent, just in case. Needless to say I returned the tent after we got back home. [...]Bottom line: Buy this tent only if you are certain there will be no rain where you are camping.

Tent seems to be flimsy due to the winds we had. Entrance zipper seems to get caught a lot. Other than that, Spacious Tent!!
