By Gary C. from Lancaster, CA on 11/15/2009 Pros: Adjustable Hood, Bag has a lot of loft, Comfortable, Roomy, Warm Cons: Compression Sack Needed Best Uses: 3 Season Camping, Backpacking, Cold Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bag is very comfortable with a lot of loft. A compression sack would make it easier to load in the pack. A great bag for the price.
By -TSS Backpacking Adventurer from Superior, CO on 08/26/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Roomy Best Uses: 3 Season Camping, Backpacking, Car Camping, Cold Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use the sleeping bag for car camping with the kids and backpacking with friends. I have been really warm every time I use it and it compresses to a reasonable size.
By kscoach from Ft Worth, TX on 06/29/2009 Pros: Adjustable Hood, Comfortable, Marmot warranty, Roomy Cons: Missing 3 oz of down, Not Warm Enough Best Uses: 3 Season Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Check your bag closely when you get it - mine only lofted up to about 4 1/2" out of the box. I thought it was odd that when I laid this bag out next to my 15 degree Marmot Sawtooth - the Sawtooth had more loft. I contacted Marmot and they fixed the bag free of charge by adding 3 oz of down. It now lofts up to 6" and should be good to go at 5 degrees. Marmot is a topnotch company and stands behind their products.
