Tough to Beat for Summer Camping, etc. By aysrav from Augusta, GA on 10/24/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Set Up, Fly Works Well, Freestanding, Lightweight, Small pack size, Sturdy, Waterproof Best Uses: Motorcycle Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am exceedingly pleased with my new tent. I was perfectly dry after several rainy nights. The fly provides outstanding protection and vestibule space for gear. It is a palace when used as a solo tent. I have also camped with my daughter and it was great. We are both pretty petite but there was plenty of room for us. It goes up nearly as quickly as a "pop-up." Gotta love the fact that it's freestanding too! Once it's assembled you can pick it up and move it wherever you want. Although there are lighter tents on the market, I am a motorcycle camper so the weight is perfect. I also love the fact that it's all mesh. That makes for wonderful stargazing and comfort in the summer. There are a couple of pockets that are useful for storing personal effects and clips on top for hanging a light or gear loft. The quality is first rate even down to the stakes. The poles are light and nearly assemble themselves. The zippers are quiet and do not snag. This tent met all of my requirements. Couldn't have really asked for anything more.
