Closeouts. The power of Asolo’s Power Matic 300 backpacking boots starts underfoot, where a one-of-a-kind sole molds together three different polyurethane densities: The high-density front portion stabilizes, and the medium-density heel combines with four strategically placed, low-density cylinders to reduce shock. Waterproof breathable Gore-Tex® membrane powers up the interior, and the sturdy and durable Micro Pulley lacing system reduces lace abrasion on the rugged suede upper.

By KTL from St. Louis, MO on 10/12/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Great Traction, Water Resistant Best Uses: Everyday, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear these boots to work everyday. I have a lawn and landscape company and I walk many miles each day. I broke these boots in in a couple of days. My feet have never gotten wet, but I've only used these boots for about a month. Can't go wrong with Asolo.
By Backwoods pic taker from Riverside, Ca on 08/12/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Great Traction, Sturdy/Durable Best Uses: Day Hiking, Everyday, Light Loads Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use these for everyday drivers and weekend day hikes and overniters. Once my pack gets past 25 or 30 lbs I switch to Asolo Titans. The laceing system is great. They have great ankle suport, I have almost roled my ankle several times, I always end up siting on the ground in an aukward position but without strains sprains or breaks.
