It feels too big with or without socks, and straps don't cinch them down enough.
However, once I added an aftermarket insole, everything felt fine.
Without socks, these are great on warm days. If you wear the right shade of socks with them, they'll look just like shoes.

I did have to get a half size larger than ususal. These are very sturdy with nice support.

At first I was a little concerned they were too small. I am a consistent 9.5 mens and all my best shoes are that size. Sometimes I buy a ten based upon fit. Teva quality is definitely present. They are going to be fine and I'm really happy to have 'spider rubber' on the soles. It is amazing on wet, slimy rocks in creeks.
