| A household name in most countries, Speedo has grown from modest roots into the world’s preeminent name in performance swimwear. Founded by Scottish immigrant Alexander MacRae in 1914 as a knitting mill, the Speedo line of swimwear captured its first trophy in a competition held in 1928. Tummy control panel could be a bit firmer and bust cups a bit more structured (but that wouldn't be a problem for everyone). I was glad to read the reviews of others on the Sierra Trading Post website - helped me decide.

I would buy this one every time. Speedo really does make one of the best available. The fabric is strong and chlorine-resistant, the fit is good, and the style is both attractive and well-cut for the serious swimmer. The only con is that the legs are a tad high-cut for me (I'm a 48-year old woman).
