By Janeclimber from Climbing in US, Canada, and China on 11/21/2008 Describe Yourself: Avid Climber Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: IMHO, it is the best all-around tool. I sold my Petzl Quark and bought a pair of Anaconda. I used it free soloed Dreamweaver (Mt. Meeker) in May 08 in leashless setting. Quark and Anaconda do equally well climbing steep waterfall ice (>WI4). But I trust Anaconda more than Quark in an alpine/mountaineering terrain. If you want a pair of aggressive tools to climbing both steep waterfall ice, mixed, and alpine, this is it!
The grip is suitable for small hands but my friends with big hands also love them too.

By Mountaineer Matt from Colorado Springs, CO on 11/11/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Simple Best Uses: Long Climbs, Outdoor, Sprint Climbs Describe Yourself: Avid Climber Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This helmet is light weight and strong, which is what I need when I'm climbing winter mountains in CO. Great Fit, Great function, And a rare great price.
