By Brian from DFW, TX on 11/20/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Quality Best Uses: Everyday riding, Long-distance riding, Sprinting Describe Yourself: Competitive Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: At STP prices, these shoes are incredible. The latch works great and is easy to fine-tune on the bike. The Lorica upper is very comfortable.
Note: With my SPD-SL cleats, these shoes require bolts that are a bit longer than the ones that came with the pedals. The proper length for popular cleats is specified in the included manual.
By Diesel from Michigan on 11/11/2008 Pros: Comfort, Highest quality, Superior closures Cons: Lack of carbon sole plate Best Uses: Everyday riding, Long-distance riding Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have problematic feet, and the Sidi's work great for me. They seem to run a little narrow, so if you think you might want the "Mega" model (the wider sized shoes), you're probably right. Break in is fast, and they only get more comfortable with time. The only negative that I can spot is that most other shoes at this pricepoint have at least a partial carbon, if not a full carbon sole plate. I got a smokin' deal on them from Sierra Trading Post...thanks!!!
By Mountain Biker from Aspen, CO on 11/10/2008 Best Uses: Long-distance riding Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These shoes are very comfortable. I love the ratcheting system for tightening/loosening the shoe for the perfect fit.
