| When acclaimed climber and kayaker Royal Robbins and his wife, Liz, had trouble finding outdoor apparel that suited their adventures, they decided to design their own. Knowing exactly what outdoor enthusiasts needed from their clothing, they founded the Royal Robbins outdoor apparel company with a unique vision. Royal Robbins is dedicated to enhancing the experience of their customers while giving back to the world they so love to enjoy. By providing customers with comfortable outdoor travel apparel and also supporting environmental conservation programs, they achieve both goals. Rugged and functional apparel is beefed up with technical features like Cool-Mesh™, Dri-X-Treme™, and Coolmax® to provide great airflow, wicking, and drying properties. They are great for travel, do not wrinkle,are light weight, dry very quickly. I have worn them on back country trail trips as well as for casual everyday events. They look dressy enough to wear to any non-formal event and are the most durable material and workmanship I have ever seen. I was happy to find more of them and hope that they are not discontinued, or that RR has other styles with the same material.
