By katatriestoski from Boulder, CO on 06/16/2008 Pros: helps with cold toes Cons: doesn't last very long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: i used these for skiing; the first time was in roomier boots, and they worked quite well, though they only lasted maybe 4 hours. The second time i used my regular boots which have a performance fit-very snug-and not only did they not have enough air in order to heat up, but they took up so much room that my toes went numb. Sooo, i'll keep using them for slogging around town when it's cold, but i'll invest in a pair of the "hotronics" flat electric boot warmers for skiing!

These toe warmers ROCK use 1 By jaynilu former girl scout leader from Keene, NH on 05/21/2008 Pros: Durable, Improves Performance, Safe, Works Well Best Uses: Cold Climate, Wear to impruv circ to ft Describe Yourself: Experienced Hunter Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have poor circulation to my hands, I wrap 1 toe warmer around my thumb, lay 1 toe warmer on top and 1 on bottom of fingers and put glove into mitten. I use snow board glove/mitten set. The very best system to keep hands toasty warm. On my feet I use 2 toe warmers, 1 on top and 1 on the bottom of my toes, or 2 on the bottom of my feet instead of the footbed if I've run out.
I am now spinal cord injured. this means I am paralyzed from my chest down to my toes. That means I have no control over my lower body sensation. So my circulation is poor and my feet are stone cold all the time. Even on the hottest days. So I use the toe heaters all year long.
Thank God I learned of their existense as a girl scout leader.
