By Hiker chick from Cambridge, MA on 09/13/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Set Up Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Was looking to replace a 2-person hammock to hang between our back porch supports. This one was long, in fact the perfect length for my space. It hangs up high now, with no need for additional ropes. Easy! I'm sure it will stretch out and sag to normal height, since that's to be expected of cotton rope. The ropes and knots are not flawless, but they are good and soft, with decent quality. Nice end bars too. I'm very happy to have it.
By Lounger1 from Sacramento, CA on 09/07/2008 Comments: The rope was very stretchy and I couldn't get it in a comfortable position. I returned it. Some of the ropes on the ends were twisted.

Great Hammock for the Price By Hammock Lover from Arkansas on 06/17/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Dries Quickly, Easy Set Up, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great hammock for the price. Looks great by our pool.
Super comfortable, SUPER stretchy By Girl in the Hammock from Reading in the hammock on 06/14/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Set Up, rope is really soft Cons: Rope has a LOT of give Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: While the hammock as a whole is incredibly comfortable, and the rope is as soft as can be, the major con is that the rope stretches... a lot. I barely top the 125 lb. mark, and we still had to hang the hammock almost four feet up in the air just so I wouldn't hit the ground when I climbed in!
That said, once you find the perfect hanging height the stretching isn't as much of a problem, and the hammock is just as comfortable as can be—but I definitely wouldn't recommend this for heavier users. Be prepared to do lots of "test" hangs to find the perfect height!
By K the Hammock lover from Indiana on 06/05/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: To get this hammock high enough so you don't end up on the ground, we had to put it so high that it looked terrible. THe kids couldn't even reach it, it was up so high.
must keep adjusting for stretch By rebel450 from Kentucky on 06/03/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The cotton of the hammock itself just keeps stretching so you must keep adjusting the chain at each end. Could do with more firm rope w/ less give.
By Arizona Hiking Gal from Prescott, AZ on 05/19/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Dries Quickly, Easy Set Up Best Uses: Backyard, Patios and poolside Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This hammock is an excellent product-durable, attractive, and functional. Together with the ABO Gear stand, it makes a wonderful addition to backyard relaxation. We put a blanket over the hammock for extra comfort. I suggest taking it down when it rains a lot and keeping it out of daily direct sun (especially in desert climates).
By Autumn Woods from Ellicott City , MD on 05/01/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Set Up Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great for our two girls. But sags a bit for me or my husband and he's tried to tighten it. (not all the way to the ground - but not much clearance). Maybe it takes some breaking in... For the price, it was worth the try.
