By backwoodsman from Fort Wayne IN on 04/25/2008 Pros: Easy To Use, Effective, Promotes Healing, Safe Best Uses: Keep In The Trunk, Keep in truck, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: CPR Trained Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: not a complete survival kit but an excellent first aid kit and with a few additions like water purification tablets and paracord would be a top notch survival kit
By Phantom from Olympic Peninsula, WA on 04/06/2008 Pros: Nice kit w decent items Cons: Slightly heavy but rugged Best Uses: Kayaking, Keep In The Trunk Describe Yourself: CPR Trained, Novice First Aid Skills Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Slight ink stain on front of case; barely noticable. The case has room to add additional items of your choice. The included medical book is excellent.
It is 20 oz (575 grams)so a little heavy/bulky for backpacking but great for kayaking and keeping in the auto.
The product is a good value at the reduced price but it would be overpriced at the retail pricing.
