I wade away from my boat near the small islands off Chuckaluskee in SW Florida, so need shoes that grip, are lightweight and dry quickly.
These seem to be just the ticket.

They have good traction and drain quickly. The only downside is very small gravel pieces can get in. You may need a neoprene guard for the very top. Overall a fantastic stream wading shoe.
