By exercise junkie from Branchville, NJ on 01/14/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Needs some breaking in, Stable Best Uses: Day hikes, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have just started breaking these shoes in. So far I have used them only on sidewalks. The sole feels stiff, which is what I wanted it for when I go hiking. The lining also feels a little snug around the small toe. I thought that was strange as the width across my forefoot otherwise feels good. With wearing it is improving. There are no other points on the shoe that have bothered my feet.
I wish they had fit well! By Lisa from Cleveland Heights on 12/22/2007 Pros: Durable, Great Traction Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love my other LaSportiva hiking shoes and had high hopes for these. I was sad that they were considerably wide and rather long. I really wanted them to be the right shoes! They seem well-made, attractive, and have very nice soles. I'd recommend these with a caution about the size.
Would definitely buy these again. I'm out in the snow everyday and wear these shoes with gaiters and my feet stay warm and dry. A little heavy for a shoe, but so much better than boots. The soles have great traction.
