Good Shoes; Confusing Name By SpartySAM from Haslett, MI on 08/04/2008 Pros: Dries Quickly, Durable, Easy On and Off, Good Traction, Secure Describe Yourself: Intermediate Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these shoes because they were Mion. However, when I received them, they were marked as being Timberline. Oh well. I use them primarily for kayaking. In practice, because they are closed, they keep the sand out. They are also relatively comfortable and tight. They also fit well in the kayak. Unlike some other shoes that I use, they do not get in the way of kayaking. The only problem -- they dry out so slowly and they never seem to get completely dry.

Nothing I did helped, tied laces tighter and pulled the heel strap tight but it would not stay tight. Now that I have worn them and don't like them I don't know if I can send them back. It was not a comfortable 2 days.
