good price, needs break in period By dad from virginia on 06/29/2008 Best Uses: Pavement, Trails Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Slightly narrow but my foot is wide, would probably be perfect on an average foot. Great price. I may put a different insole in for more cushioning.

By skiman from Mt Hood Oregon on 05/31/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Versatile Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased these because I was tired of ruining my good running shoes doing yard work. I thought a good "trail" shoe" would be better suited. Boy was I right about that. So far this week I have moved 8 tons of gravel building garden pathways, shoveled a trailer load of composted horse manure into and out of my yard and a half trailer, mowed my lawn, and worn them around the house. No trail running yet, but these shoes work great. They look a lot better than running shoes too - nice chocolate brown that does NOT show the dirt or grass stains like my nice formerly white and grey New Balance $90 runners. These are nice enough for casual business wear, would work great for golf if you don't use spikes. But we aware, these do not have the the compression padding of a quality running shoe so are NOT advised for running except off road. My yard is on slopes varying from 5% to 30% and these shoes provide great traction and support on side hills as well as climbing and descending. Throw away those old runners and try these babies for those tough jobs that don't require a steel toed work shoe.

They were comfortable immediately and required little or no break in time. They have a different look than most running sneakers and are nice looking too. I wear them for long term walking and trails.
By Padre Islander from Corpus Christi, Tx on 04/18/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Versatile Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The shoe seems well made. Not a true trail running shoe lacks bottom support. OK for short runs. Good for light hiking and walking. I use them for work.
