By Mountain Man from Salt Lake City, Utah on 08/13/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Great Traction Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use these for hiking. I was on a mountain trail for 11 hours yesterday and really enjoyed them. Very comfortable, and this was only my third hike in them. The length is right on, and the width is on the narrow side.

I'm a Letter Carrier so I log 6 to 10 kilometers a day in my shoes and they have proved to be very comfortable and somewhat durable. The AMPs fit true to size and given their construction are great in dry weather conditions.

By Gambulance from New Zealand on 06/14/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable Best Uses: Backcountry, Beach jogs, Cold weather, Day hikes, Everyday, Muddy conditions, Trail running, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A little stiff and unforgiving to begin with, but softens over time. Very comfortable and stable. Feels a little heavy for a light weight trail runner but the traction makes up for this!! Eats up sand, mud, gravel, hills, stairs...anything you throw at it!!
By mudflaps from Rochester, NY on 06/03/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I guess I almost never met a shoe I didn't like so, I'm not the most discerning of customers. I like the crossover of runnung vs hiking and this provides for both, my socks did get a little moist from the first trail run.
