Glove-like fit. Low on support By sierranomad from Mokelumne Hill, CA on 11/23/2008 Pros: Comfortable/No Break-In Best Uses: Casual, Everyday Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker, Trail Jogger Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I labored over whether to return these shoes. They are very comfortable, but don't have the arch support that I crave. They also don't offer much protection: if a dime fell on your shoe, you'd feel it. But, again, they are extremely comfortable and have a great fit. I found that adding my own insoles improves the arch-support enough to make them OK in that field. So I decided to keep them.

They are very good looking with shorts and footie type sock.
Don't think they would be good for back country or snow, but probably would work great around camp.
I am very pleased with these.
Good-looking, Well-made shoe By Frank from Mill Valley, CA on 06/19/2008 Pros: Durable, Great Traction, Stable Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A well made shoe. The one con for me: the soles are quite stiff and hard. They will take a while to break in. The most comfortable soles I can think of are made by Merrell, and these just don't have that supple feeling.
