Great for hiking in the woods where you can slip, but with this shoe you will not.

I never have problems with shoe fitting but I did with this one. It is a rigid shoe and I don't have a problem with that but felt that it curved my heel inward and down; very strange.

By niemanbj from Omaha, NE on 06/04/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: comfortable shoe with great traction. It is light weight and I use it for hiking/climbing. It says it runs a half size big but it may even be a full size. The only con is that the tongue is short so the tie knot always slips off the tongue. Can be solved with some creative lacing.
