By bob from Muncy , Pa. on 05/12/2008 Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I sent it back.A nice idea but very difficult to put bottles in the pockets, let alone remove them while on move.Needed something light which would carry ample supplies of liquid on longer pursuits. This didn't stack up.
GoLite Spin is a great lite minimalist By Ajax from Annapolis, MD on 05/02/2008 Best Uses: Mountain Biking Describe Yourself: Competitive Cyclist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I race Ultra Endurance MTB and this is the lightest hydration pack I could find that still has just enough room for tools, tubes, some food and a jacket. It is also soft and comfortable. I like it, it is the second one I have purchased, unfortunately GoLite has discontinued the model.

By Iron Goat from Pittsburgh, PA on 04/07/2008 Pros: Easy to Refill, Large Capacity Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great idea for folks who don't like a belt type hydration system and like the easy of using bottles instead of a bladder. The fit and construction is good. The down side is acces to the bottles. I have to take off the backpack to get a bottle. This is a problem if you are going to use this backpack for trail running.
By Hikin' Jim from Los Angeles, CA on 03/06/2008 Pros: Breathes well, Good mobility, Light Weight Best Uses: Day Hiking, General cycling, Mountain Biking, Road Riding, Running Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good for outings where you don't want to carry much but need a lot of water. Excellent for hot weather distance hikes/runs where you can't afford to have movement on your back (throws off your balance) but want a good supply of water (has hydration pouch AND three water bottle pockets). With the right bottles you could carry 6L of water.
Downside: Can't carry a lot of extras. This is for "fast and light" events. Pretty hard to carry anything more than something like a wind shell and a thermal top.
