My first pair of Browning boots... By 1100 from Murrieta, California on 06/10/2008 Pros: beautiful leather, Breathable, Comfortable, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Sole may be a bit light Best Uses: Big Game Hunting, Bird Hunting, Cold Climate, General hunting, I hunt PA Describe Yourself: Experienced Hunter Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am going to order another pair. The price and quality is very good. I think the boot is a little narrow if you use heavy socks. Otherwise, this boot should provide a day of good hunting without any problems.
tennis shoe comfort in a hunting boot By Rabbits in here from ms on 05/15/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Please do not discontinue, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Experienced Hunter Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: If you hunt in really dense cover (briars) be prepared to purchase boots more frequently than you would for cowhide boots
Way to narrow at base of tongue By woodworker from FortAnn, N Y on 04/20/2008 Cons: Narrow at base of tongue Describe Yourself: Experienced Hunter Comments: It was a nice lightweight boot but I couldn't get my foot into the boot past the bottom of the tongue. Even in the wide boot size.

Good Quailty, careful with size By Brian from South Salem NY on 03/29/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Recreational Hunter Sizing: Feels full size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Just got back from a hunt with these. Comfortable and waterproof. They look like they will hold up well but have only worn once so dont know.Be careful on size when ordering. I wear a 10 1/2 shoe and ordered a 10 1/2 boot. They were much too large. I then looked up the browning sizing chart: [@] It turns out that a normal size 10.5 = a browning size 9 1/2. I have no idea why Browning would do this, but keep this in mind when ordering. My second order I ordered 2 pair (a 9 1/2 and a 10 1/2) just to be sure and just as in the first instance the 10 1/2 was too large. Note that on Browning's table, this differential is not constant eg a person with a 12" foot orders a browning size 14.The 9 1/2 ended up fitting well. It felt narrow at first but after wearing for a day they stretched out a bit and fit well now. If you wear wide shoes be sure to order a wide size but if you have only a slightly wider than normal foot and usually order standard width shoes they will likely be fine once broken in.
By Conservation Man from East KY on 03/19/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Big Game Hunting, Bird Hunting, Cold Climate Describe Yourself: Experienced Hunter Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I work as a conservationist and my new 10.5' brownings are the lightest most comfortable boots I have ever bought. Working in standing mud and water daily make footwear very important. They make a long hard day easy on the hips with excellent support for the back. Very soft, dry, light and comfortable. Sorry Rocky and wolverine, Browning is now my brand!
By Dan from GA on 03/17/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Big Game Hunting, Bird Hunting Describe Yourself: Experienced Hunter Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I own 2 pair of these boots, one insulated and one uninsulated. They are the best made. They require very little break in and are very tough. They are perfect for moderate weather big game hunting or upland bird hunting where you do a lot of walking. They however tend to run on the narrow side. You should buy one size wider than your normal shoe size.
