By JW from Las Vegas, NV on 11/19/2008 Pros: Arch Support, Breathable, Comfortable/No Break-In, Dries Quickly, Durable, Great Traction, Shock-Absorbent, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: At The Gym, Everyday, Grass, Mixed Terrain, Paved Trails, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Gym Rat, Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I loved this and other Patagonia shoes. They fit perfectly. I never get the crowded toe box feel of some other brands. Very true to size. Very good protection for bottom of feet even on rocky terrain. My feet felt as good at end of hike as when I started. I'm looking for more Patagonia shoes!

I have already purchased a second pair. By Ann the hiker from Oklahoma City, OK on 11/08/2008 Pros: Arch Support, Breathable, Comfortable/No Break-In, Dries Quickly, Durable, Great Traction, Not bulky, Shock-Absorbent, Stabilizes Foot Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My husband and I hike in the mountains over loose rocks, streams, and varied terrain. I like shoes with good grip, not too stiff, and well-cushioned. I also don't like bulky shoes that make it easy to get a toe caught on something and trip. These shoes satisfied all of my requirements. They also look good. I can clean them and wear them around town without feeling conspicuous.
By Teton Fun from Driggs, ID on 09/20/2008 Pros: Good support, Nice Sole, Rugged Describe Yourself: Avid Climber Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Have used La Sportiva approach shoes for years, but with some bruising on my foot needed a shoe with more support and protection. These fit perfect and look great. Will test them out at Red Rocks next month. The sole is thick which should be good for protection, but might sacrifice sensitivity.
By sue from somewhere between Boston and Providence on 08/10/2008 Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm not a climber, just liked the looks of this shoe. I'm tough on shoes, I do a lot of gardening, walking, mucking around outdoors and otherwise beating up my footwear..........these looked like they could stand up to the abuse......so far so good!
handsome and functional shoes By happy shopper from mpls, mn on 08/05/2008 Best Uses: Indoor, Outdoor Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The only thing I don't like is that the right shoe is not vertically straight. It leans to the left when I place them on a flat surface.
I couldn't love these more! By 4 months 'til ski season! from Missoula, MT on 07/28/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Rugged, Versatile Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I absolutely love this shoe! I usually wear Lowa but they tend to be a little soft and wide for me. I have been looking for something stiffer with a good vibram sole. This will be my go to shoe for summer scambles. I love them so much I want to wear them to a wedding, but alas, they will not likely look good with a dress.
