Used these in frigid, icy Montana fly fishing conditions in November and they worked fine. Not that comfortable really, but I was glad I had them. Next time I'll spend the money for some Simms or other higher quality gloves.

Good Gloves for cold fingers

Best Uses:
Fresh Water, Ice Fishing, Traveling

Excellent Gloves for the price. The way the strap works around the wrist, you can get away with dunking them with out getting wet. Don't linger though!

By Crash - the hunter from Fremont, CA on 11/05/2008
Pros:
Durable, Warm
Cons:
Fitting
Best Uses:
Fresh Water, Hunting, Salt Water
Describe Yourself:
Avid Fisher
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
The glove is good for keeping the hands warm and dry for the most part. I had one pair that i used for a whole season of fishing and hunting, they lasted quite a bit but the fore finger is torn to shred after a whole year of use due to the casting of line. Also they fit smaller this year than last year's batch. Last year i got XL by using their fitting chart and it was way too big - and so the fold back feature was used alot and it showed wear and tear after 4 trips. This year i bought L, and it fit really tight in comparison to my friend's pair of L from last year's batch.

Cons:
Poor Construction, Poor materials
Describe Yourself:
Avid Fisher
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
Gloves have large holes from line drag after one day's use. They helped keep my fingers warm, but even at this price I would like to get a season out of them.

The first time I used them they ripped apart at several places. Don't expect them to last more than a few times.
