I like being able to wear it across my body for extra security. I like that it is flatter (less bulky) than the tote that matches my luggage, but still holds a ton. All the extra pockets are great as is the water bottle holder. I took my OE Placer and tossed it in there till we got to our destination. Then I used the small Placer without having to switch my things from one bag to another. I cut the straps off the bottom to reduce extra bulk. I don't plan on taking my yoga mat to the airport on any future trips!

Its easy to carry too, since there are times I walk a distance to the lake.

The one bummer was the inside pocket seam was torn, otherwise very durable.
