He has pleanty of hair to keep him warm but he is all white and only 3' off the ground. Needless to say when we return from our walks, his feet and underside and completely black and sopping wet. The coat is easy to put on, well constructed adn feels very true to size.

Not only is it a cute coat, it also completely surrounds her rather than just across the top and sides. And she doesn't mind wearing it.

I got the medium sized coat for my beagle/hound mix. She's 27 pounds, svelte but deep chested. I went by the product measurements on the website, and the coat fits perfectly. It's a nice weight--not too warm for rainy days. We haven't had snow yet this year, but it looks like it will be warm enough for cold weather. I haven't tried washing it yet. Very nice quality for the money.

I take him daily to run in the woods in a very cold winter climate in Northwestern Pennsylvania. This jacket should stay on when he's running through deep snow, as well as, keep him warm and dry.
I measured carefully and bought a medium. I think a size small and a half would have fit much better, as this jacket seems a tad loose and long. Additionally I had to make adjustments (I sew) in the stomach area, as my dog is a male.

It is very easy to put on my dog (due to the closing being on the side-back), and it does not get in the way when he has to go to the bathroom. My dog is a Blue Heeler, 35 pounds, about 26 inches around the chest and about 22 inches long, neck to tail. The Large fit, with a little room to spare (but I think the Medium would very likely have been too snug). The coat looks sturdy and well-made, so I am looking forward to ny dog using it when we go cross-country skiing this winter.

Pug uses a harness to walk and has a good area to attach leash. He didn't seem to mind. Moves well with body.
