By Imaginary Friend from Enumclaw, wa on 11/20/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Cushy, Durable, Good Design, Regulates Temperature Well, Wicks Away Moisture Best Uses: Cycling, Daily Use, Running Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love Smartwool! They are fit-specific, meaning my size 11 feet can wear the Large in Womens, instead of having to wear Men's socks. That's always exciting. I love how soft, light and warm all the Smartwool socks are (and I usually take off my socks as soon as possible). I haven't had them long enough to see how they wear, but I have high hopes. My best friend has worn only one pair that she washes and wears over and over again, and they don't look old after 2 years. No fading either. Definitely worth the money. i wish I had gotten more while they were available in my size.
perfect for hot climates + as undersock By Reg Gilbert from Buffalo, New York on 11/20/2008 Pros: Regulates Temperature Well, Wicks Away Moisture Best Uses: Daily Use, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Worn in pretty hot climates (e.g., Cuba in the summer), these socks ("light" = quite thin, though padded a bit underfoot; "mini-crew" = just over the ankles) ensured that my feet never sweated - amazing. I have also been using them in northern winters as undersocks to medium-thickness smartwool socks (vs. wearing the thickest smartwool socks on their own), finding that a bit more likely to keep me sweat-free in a range of cold temperatures.

By Running Mom from Iowa on 11/08/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Design, Regulates Temperature Well, Stylish, Wicks Away Moisture Cons: Too hot in warm weather Best Uses: Cycling, Daily Use, Running Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wore these socks at a VERY cold 5K today. They kept my feet nice and toasty. I also liked the cushion on the sole.
By Cloner from Bay Area on 11/08/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Design, Regulates Temperature Well, Stylish, Wicks Away Moisture Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love all the smart wool products. These socks are great but the bottoms are a little more padded than I usually like for cycling. However, they will be great for fall hikes.
By Allie from TN on 11/07/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Cushy, Durable, Good Design, Regulates Temperature Well, Wicks Away Moisture Best Uses: Cycling, Long runs Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wore these on my 10 mile run and I had no hot spots. The socks stayed in place and felt great.
I wish I could have found more in less BRIGHT colors though....hot pink isn't a color that goes with everything, but at the right price, it'll do!

By andandsus from Maine on 09/17/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: we wore these under Tevas on a Grand Canyon rafting trip. They held up wonderfully, and handled the sand, water, and sun without flinching.
