NOW I like them!
By 2wheels2workVerified Reviewer from Albuquerque, NM on 08/30/2008
Pros:
Comfortable, Warm
Cons:
Poor Fit
Best Uses:
Cold Weather
Fit:
Feels too big
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I found that the reviews about the high waist were correct. But I love the material and the rest of the fit. So I took a deep breath and carefully trimmed off the elastic waist, hemmed the rough edge and folded it down to make a new casing. Slipped in a new piece of 1.25 inch wide elastic, stitched it into place and now they fit like a pair of biker pants - a little higher in the back for good coverage and 3 fingerwidths below my navel in the front. I LOVE 'em NOW!!!

if you like comfort
By choosy buyer from west coast on 04/14/2008
Pros:
Comfortable, Warm
Cons:
Poor Fit
Best Uses:
Lounging at home
Describe Yourself:
Gym Rat
Fit:
Feels too big
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
The material is comfortably stretchy and warm. However, the rise came almost 3" above my navel. Inseam is long and ankle quite narrow. So if you wear it at the waist, it sags at the crotch and really bunches up at the ankle. Great for lounging around at home though.

These work simply GREAT under the "snow" pants which have full length zippers for venting w mesh liners. I am a human popsicle and these bloomers do me good!

Basic practical underlayer
By gardening galVerified Reviewer from Oakland, CA on 03/17/2008
Pros:
Comfortable, Moisture Wicking, Warm
Cons:
A lttle too long for me, Little tight at ankle
Best Uses:
Cold Weather, Use for stationary cold
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
My work is very physically active and the pants are excellent for use under my work pants for keeping me warm and wicking moister when I'm very active. Also I attend a weekly outdoor meeting, rain or shine, and when I wear these pants, I am able to stay warm enough in very cold weather even when stationary for an hour or more.
