This is my second time purchasing this By Mimi from Potomac Maryland on 11/13/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Cozy, Insulating, Lightweight, Not Bulky, Not Scratchy, Snug Fit, Stylish Best Uses: Cold Weather, Layering, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Conditioning Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is my second purchase of the Medima Angora and wool blend winter undergarments. I wear them every day in the winter because I have turned the thermostat down in my home and this product is superior to any other I have tried to keep me feeling warm with this extra layer of clothing. When I wear these garments under my clothes, I am unaware that they are next to my skin; they are extremely comfortable.
Best long underwear ever. By R. from Illinois on 11/10/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Stylish Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I really suffer from the cold because I have Raynaud's disease. Keeping my whole body warm is a big help, and this is the best weapon I've found! I own three of these now, and they've washed up beautifully--I just throw them in the washing machine then hang them try dry. I also have silk long underwear and synthetics, but nothing is better than these Medima shirts for every day of the week.
By Eileen the bargain hunter from ct on 11/10/2008 Cons: A little itchy bc wool, Pricey Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Comments: Because of the wool content, it's a little itchy, but I wore it for a whole day and didn't notice it anymore.
By Lilly from Northfield, NJ on 11/08/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This garment is meant to wear under everyday clothing.
By right here, right now from red deer, canada on 06/05/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Snug Fit, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Balance warmth with style Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this shirt to layer under v-necks in winter. Warmth is so important to me, and I found I was layering nice tops with high-necked, practical (but not pretty) wool tops. Now I won't have to choose - pretty and warm in one product! However, the arms are short, so if you are looking at this product to wear on its own and not as a layering peice, think again.
By Kate the Manic Gardner from Bozeman, MT on 03/04/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Snug Fit, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, First layer Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love this top! I never found it itchy, and am surprised by how warm it is, for the weight. (Easily competes with Smartwool and Ibex baselayers.) I don't use this for workouts, though (that's where those other brands come in) but as a first layer under ordinary clothes. Anyone trying to cut their heating bills would find this a worth-while investment. It's also pretty (and opaque) enough so you can strip down to it without embarassing yourself and everyone around you. It does run small, thank goodness; I'm usually XS or PXS, and the S top fits great.
By Frieda from Minneapolis, MN on 01/29/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Snug Fit, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We've had a string of single-digit and sub-zero temps in the midwest this winter, and this wool Medima has been a great way to keep warm at work without adding bulk underneath blouses and sweaters. I initially ordered a M (my typical size) but found it quite snug, so returned it for a L -- perfect now. Sleeves are on the short side. The slight itch decreases with wear.
By Cold all the time from Boston, MA on 01/01/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Snug Fit, Stylish, Warm Describe Yourself: Rarely Workout Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Makes a great layer if you can stand the itch. Likes to ride up in the mid-section so tucking in is key.
By Suzy Cue from Gloucester VA on 12/23/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Snug Fit, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice instead of a sweater.
