She still pulls with this. By Jane from Golden, Colorado on 11/12/2008 Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Not quite what I needed Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'll save this for later. Right now she still needs a halter to keep her in check.
functional AND eye catching By LG from Seattle, WA on 11/11/2008 Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Easy To Attach, Great for sensitive dogs, Useful for training Best Uses: Larger Dogs, Training Describe Yourself: Professional Pet Trainer Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: use these "humane" coallrs with training service dogs - my dogs tend to be more "sensitive", and the typical choke-chains after initial training are too severe. not to mention against regulation when starting to go out in to public, so this collar is a nice in-betweener that are more attractive to the human eye and easy for the dogs to distinguish to pick up and bring to me when asked.
By Dobie Gal from Austin, Texas on 11/10/2008 Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Easy To Attach, Good Grip Best Uses: Everyday, Larger Dogs, Running, Training Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm not a fan of conventional choke collars, but this collar provides the best of both worlds. The nylon collar is strong and durable, while the cinch chain helps me keep control of my dobermans! This collar is great! I can walk both of my pups together again. I'd order again and I've recommended to my friends.
Beware if have a white dog By Tony from Manchester, TN on 11/10/2008 Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The chain part of this leaves dirty marks on dog's throat. Wash the chain, and NO change!
Works very well for its intended use.

By Aussie mom from Cordelia, CA on 11/09/2008 Pros: Attractive, Comfortable Best Uses: Maintenance training Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good qualities: good sound cue, comfortable for everyday wear, easy on/off, good for gentle reminder for dogs well trained.
Not-so-good: Large is too big for 16" neck, not enough cinch for training puppies or very strong dogs,
By Bowrinkles from Rochester, MN on 11/09/2008 Best Uses: Everyday, Larger Dogs, Training Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought the collar for a 38 lb dog, chain made collar too heavy for her...so put it on my 50 lb dog-looks great & not so heavy for her.
No fur cutting with this choke chain! By Oski & Uciebear's mom from Kentfield, CA on 11/08/2008 Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Easy To Attach, Good Grip, Good Length Best Uses: Everyday, Larger Dogs, Puppies, Running, Smaller Dogs, Training Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Works as well as a choke chain, but without the constant tearing on the dog's fur. Controls both my two year old 95 pound male Golden Retriever and my 10 month old 65 pound female Golden. That's 160 pounds worth of rambunctious canines!

By hearbanjos? from New Kent, VA on 11/08/2008 Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Easy To Attach, Good Grip, Good Length Best Uses: Everyday, Larger Dogs, Smaller Dogs, Training Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Our latest canine family member recently turned a year; she's a destructive whirling dervish, somewhat out-of-control tomgirl we're trying to socialize. I've feared that her other collars would fail, and she would disappear. This Ruff Wear collar is so feminine with its purple color and yellow daisy outline yet strictly utilitarian. It doesn't seem possible for it to slip off because Fifi would have removed it by now. When walking, the double choke cinches but not nearly like a real choke chain--just enough for her to decrease the sled-dog imitation. I've had difficulties finding a sturdy collar for this ultra-sturdy 40 pounder with a somewhat small head and delicate neck. Ruff Wear has given me peace of mind, the vet complimented it today, and Princess Fiona loves the musical jingle as she trots about her business.
