However, it is similar to a sports bra in that the fabric is stretchy and you pull it on over your head. I use it when I don't want to wear a regular bra, but also don't want to have the life squeezed out of me with a sports bra.
I like about it:
- the straps are spaced like a normal bra so they don't show when I wear t-shirts
- it provides a bit of shaping and compression
- it comes up high - in the back and under the arms - nice for those of us who are flabbier than we'd like to be
- excellent quality
The fabric is thick and if you are looking for something weightless, this is not your item.

It provides smooth, seamless lines with no back or side bulges that some bras cause. It has great support despite having no underwire. I will get a lot of use!

Wait, was this a sports bra? The write-up makes it sound like a hosiery-type bra. So why does this thing thing fit like a compression bra?
Armholes are high and somewhat tight, and create a visible bulge not at the bra strap area as other bras do but high up at the underarm. Stretch fabric is snug with strong elasticity. There's a lot of compression overall.
The all-hosiery design for bras is a great idea. I own some Spanx brand bras and I love them. But this seems like a hybrid between one of those and a low-impact sports bra. Okay, I can find a use in my wardrobe for that - but it's not really what I was expecting from the description.

I normally take a size 4 so I ordered the small. Wrong choice! It might fit a 12-year old. The medium was perfect for me and very comfortable. And yes, I will reorder additional pieces. It doesn't offer enough support for serious exercise, but maybe it would work for yoga.

My complaint is with the fit. I usually wear a size 8. When the small didn't fit, I exchanged for a medium (10-12). The shoulder straps are STILL too tight, and the arm holes are STILL too small. I am on the skinny side. If a medium is binding on me, how would it feel on someone with heavier arms? I won't send this back yet again. I'll wash it a dozen times and hope it loosens up, or give it to someone half my size.
