However, the coat fits small - I would order one size larger than you normally wear. The coat also fits in a more tailored manner and has side vents - like a double breasted sportcoat. I found the fit and the back flaps a bit odd for a coat of this nature. If you want a nice quality sportcoat that fits like a tailored suit coat, this is your item.

This rating is for the brown one. Size 40R in the brown jacket fits perfectly and it's true to size. Unfortunately, the black jacket had to go back because it was too tight--it fitted more like a 38R. A great Fall/Winter jacket--it can be dressed up or down, and the brown color coordinates well with several shades of trousers and jeans.

The cashmere material was nice, don't get me wrong. It simply wasn't up to Brant standards. In addition, the jacket was cut atleast an inch too short. I have multiple Brant jackets/suits in 44R and this one was definitely miscut. Also, I find it annoying that many Brant items offer multiple origins of manufacture. This particular jacket was advertised as Italy OR China OR Canada. Mine said Mexico. I have noticed inconsistencies in Brant depending on where the garment is made. It makes a difference! Bottom Line: Returned.
