Description:

Requirements:
Ideal candidates will be quick learners that are able to think creatively and are task-oriented. 1-2 years development experience is preferred. Knowledge of .Net, ASP, and SQL is preferred. Experience in VB, MS SQL Server and Visual Source Safe is helpful. B.S. in Computer Science or related field required.

Description:
Serves as a liaison within the organization for information systems problem management. Performs first level troubleshooting and dispatches vendors or in-house personnel to resolve hardware, software or telecommunications problems. Responsibilities - Provide end user support for Sierra’s QOP/SB+ software and other locally developed .NET software.
- Install and support end user software packages such as Microsoft Office
- Provide hardware support for PCs, terminals, printers, phones, cash registers, scanners, and other computer related devices
- Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues to include faulty cables, connectors and ports
- Configure/reconfigure phones, workstations, cash registers, scanners, printers and other computer related devices
- Perform basic administration of users on the network. This includes resetting passwords as needed, adding user information to directory services and setting up user information in QOP/SB+
- Assist other IT employees as needed

Requirements:
Education Prefer degree in Computer Science, IT or Business Administration with computer emphasis or comparable work experience.
Certificates Microsoft MCP, ComTIA A+ or Network+
Experience/Skills Experience with Microsoft Windows workstations/servers, MS Office, Exchange and UNIX. Experience with PC hardware is required. Knowledge of Macintosh is a plus. Must have excellent communication skills and be a “team player” which includes sharing knowledge with other employees.
