I live in Seattle and do a lot of hiking in the Cascades and Olympics. I have a bad knee and need good ankle support. I also need good gore-tex boots that have good traction on uneven and steep terrain. I have never worn Asolo and decided to try them out. I had purchased another brand and had to return them as I was very disappointed. When I tried on the Asolo boots, I found them to be very comfortable. They fit perfectly. I first wore them at Mt. Rainier and they were great: great traction, great support and my feet felt great!!! I also think they are very cool looking!! I am very pleased!
